Vytautas the Great – the winner of the Battle of Grunwald, the strengthening of Lithuanian statehood. His image in our historical consciousness is positive. However, some people sometimes have questions: he fled twice to the Crusaders, and when he marched with the enemy army to Vilnius in September 1390, he barely took him.
